A quality framework has been established that links to the National Care Standards but looks at the service from four perspectives - the experience, the environment, the staffing and the management.

By using the framework to review the service and by involving parents, children and staff in the self-assessment we will be able to identify areas for improvement. The grading system (6 is excellent and 1 is unsatisfactory) will enable us to track our progress in each area from one year to the next and allow Allsorts to develop to meet the needs of its clients.

As part of the Go Play investment, we are evaluating the impact of the outdoor free play sessions on children's confidence, their willingness to try new things, to problem solve, to assess & take risks and to work in partnership.
