The school canteen is base camp for Allsorts, and is transformed from its lunchtime function into a colourful, welcoming environment with games and toys, arts & crafts. The room is very light and airy with window walls and opens onto an enclosed courtyard where the children have built and erected a bird table and flower boxes. On FUNtastic days we move into the Allsorts Free Play area of the school garden. With trees to climb, holes to dig & outdoor cooking this is a great hit with the children.

During the summer holidays, Allsorts moves to the West Church Hall, Sutherland Road, Dornoch IV25 3SX . This is nearer to the town for visiting the museum, beach, woods and play parks. There is an enclosed garden to allow the children to enjoy the summer sun, a kitchen for baking, a large hall for indoor free play and a chill out room. However we also make regular visits to the Free Play area at the school.
